Material Evaluation
Materials are selected by role, not by layer count alone.
Construction decisions consider how each component supports comfort, fit, fluid handling, containment, durability and production feasibility. The appropriate combination depends on the intended product and target requirements.
Skin-contact comfort
Hand feel, moisture interaction and wearer comfort are reviewed for the intended use.
Acquisition and transfer
Material direction can be evaluated around how liquid is received and moved through the construction.
Absorbent core
Core materials and placement are considered in relation to the target protection direction.
Barrier and containment
Waterproofing and containment approaches are selected according to product construction.
Stretch and recovery
Base fabrics and trims are reviewed for fit, movement and shape-retention needs.
Wash and care context
Internal wash and colorfastness checks are carried out during development and quality control as appropriate. Test conditions are defined according to the project and material.
